Novo Spa policies and procedures are as follows:
-Intake form(s) must be filled out at time of first service, we recommend clients show up 15 minutes prior to appointment time.
-Draping will be used during the entirety of clients session-only the area being worked on will be uncovered. This is not optional.
-Persons 17 years or younger must have informed, written consent from parent or legal guardian and be accompanied by them for the duration of their session.
-The massage received is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation and relief of muscular tension and is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis or treatment.
-The clients' massage therapist will not perform spinal or skeletal adjustments. Nor will they diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness and nothing said during the course of the session should be construed as such.
-Clients are responsible for verbally informing the massage therapist if and when they are in pain or discomfort during the massage so the pressure and/or strokes may be modified. They are also responsible for informing their esthetician if they experience any unpleasant sensations (ie burning, itching, stinging etc) this may mean they have an unknown/undisclosed sensitivity or allergy to a product.
-SEXUAL ADVANCES AND MISCONDUCT will not be tolerated. Services rendered at Novo Spa are strictly therapeutic and non-sexual. Any sexual remarks or advances will immediately terminate the session. Following termination, client will be reported to authorities, will be liable for payment of the scheduled service in full and will not be welcome back.
- Receiving full session/massage/facial time is the clients' responsibility and is ensured by arriving 15 minutes prior to appointment time. If late arrival is inevitable, clients service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule and the full, original appointment price will be charged
-Because massage, bodywork and skin care procedures should not be performed under certain medical conditions, clients affirm they have stated all their known medical conditions to practitioner during intake. Clients agree to keep the therapist/esthetician updated as to any changes in their medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the therapists'/estheticians' part should they fail to do so.
-There are no guaranteed results for any of the services rendered at Novo Spa. Results acquired are dependent upon age, skin condition, and health practices outside of the spa. There is a possibility the client may require further services to obtain the desired results.
-Clients assume the risk and responsibility for any and all injuries, losses, side effects, or damages which might occur to them while undergoing any services at Novo Spa. Clients also will not hold their massage therapist and or esthetician responsible for any of their conditions that were present but not disclosed which may be affected by the service received.
-Hair removal and skincare services are provided for the basic purpose of benefitting the health and aesthetic of skin through methods only under my estheticians' scope of practice and is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis or treatment.
-Clients will not take, adopt or use the Novo Spa name, logo, any ideas associated with Novo Spa, its aesthetics or business model for my own use. By doing so, Novo Spa may take legal action against them to whatever degree they see fit.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

-Cancellations within 48 hours of appointment date & time are subject to a fee equivalent to 50% of scheduled service investment regardless of reschedule.
-Clients who show up more than 15 minutes past their appointment start time may be asked to reschedule and are subject to a fee equivalent to 50% of scheduled service investment or, may receive remaining session time for full fee per practitioners discretion.
-No shows are subject to a fee equivalent to 100% of service investment. ​
